Our website “Glyfada Town” was created with the aim of presenting both the commercial and entertainment side of Glyfada to assist residents and tourists alike.
The seaside town of
Glyfada, which was once an underdeveloped suburb of the seventies, has been transformed into what is today, a major commercial centre of Athens.
Glyfada has developed rapidly over the past decades and posseses a unique popularity. Currently there are 130,000 residents living in Glyfada in which approximately 10,000 are foreign immigrants. In addition, the number of visitors to Glyfada is particularly high because the area has become a must for tourists wanting to shop, dine and entertain themselves. All of this was credited by foresighted businessmen who have invested in the area over the past 20 years.
